Every couple who trusts us to make a wedding set holds a special place in our brand's heart. This moment of trust will always be moving and thrilling for us. One of those moments was when Tara passed our contacts on to her wedding planner, Alexa Kay.
Our brand was honored to be a part of the wedding of three-time Paralympic medalist Hunter Woodhall and Team USA Olympian Tara Davis.
Before starting work on the set, we discussed the wedding style with the planner. Tara wanted a modern fairytale wedding that felt very “happily ever after.” And she also wanted the celebration to feature her favorite color: pink. We couldn't help but notice that Alexa is truly a master of her craft and took these wishes into account to create both a beautiful and enjoyable wedding.
Considering the bride's favorite color, we selected the appropriate wedding set. The choice fell at Ruta set in Blush color. The set includes flutes, a plate, a cake set, and two forks. All elements are made in soft pink color and decorated with high-quality rhinestones, which added a fabulous glow to the wedding. As for personalization, the newlyweds chose a classic option with their names and wedding date. The engraving was done on all set elements except for the forks.
Three months before the wedding, the set was ready and waiting for the big day. Alexа shared with us that Tara was thrilled with our meticulous work on her wedding set, and those words melted our hearts.
On October 16, 2022, the couple married at D'Vine Grace Vineyard in McKinney, Texas. Tara and Hunter's wedding was fun and carefree, full of love and good vibes.
“When Tara and Hunter were together, they were complete and needed nothing else. I have never seen a couple enjoy their day more. It was like the rest of the world melted away. It didn't matter how many people were watching them or what else was happening. They were fully present and enjoying the moment with the people around them. Instead of stressing, they hired a great vendor team and trusted us completely. It made the logistics effortless and the day unforgettable.” — Kevin Cochran, videographer.
There were more than 200 guests at the wedding, who, together with the bride and groom, plunged into a fairytale atmosphere, had a lot of fun, laughed, danced, and enjoyed it. One of the most exciting moments happened when the couple cut their wedding cake.
Tara and Hunter trusted Butterfly Cakery to make the cake. They created a strawberry and lemon cake decorated with a cascade of dimensional white blooms, which sat atop a modern acrylic box filled with blush baby’s breath.
The bride and groom took their personalized cake set and plate to cut the cake. They were so fascinated by this process that they started playing like little children and throwing cake at each other. It was so fun and sincere because they were just being themselves.
October 16 will forever remain in our memory as a bright and pleasant memory. We are happy that Elena Honch became a part of another fairytale story.
